Our Field Trip Outside For The First Time !!!

The puppies got to go outside and see what it was like to sit/lay on the grass. They did alot of sniffing, rooting around on one another for about 10-15 minutes. Then the noises began, a little crying, whining, and low howling type noise. Too Funny !! Not bad for the first time out. They are trying to walk, a bit wobbly but they are getting there.

Ahhh , Clean & Fresh

Cleaned out that old yucky cardboard, scrubbed the floor good. Put in a nice fresh clean sheet for Meranda and the babies to lay on, or root around on. Think Meranda was happy about that. Even put the fan on low for her today. She was gettting a little warm. Turned the heat lamps off this morning. They are all rooting their way around. Think they are all content, Momma and babies. Hope you are enjoying the pictures.

Our eyes are open & we are on the move !!!!!!!

They started playing peek a boo about last Friday, they are getting on the move. Just cleaned out the cardboard on the floor and cleaned their area out. They can get better traction on the concrete and a nice clean sheet. A few more days and they should be walking. They will be going to the vet Friday to be weighed to get wormer medicine. They are growing so fast. They are like litte teddy bears.

Meranda & Maxs ' 4th & Last Litter

Merandas' puppies were due on St. Patricks day. We waited and waited, Sun., Mon. Tues., called the vet, Ned said if she was not stressed she would be fine. So, we waited some more Wed., Thurs, Fri., . I call the vet again, same thing , if she is ok just hang in there they will come. Friday Mar. 22, 2013 about 5:30 or so she started having heavy contractions. We got  3 beautiful little girls, unfortunately, are 3 little boys were all still born. They were not deformed in anyway, they just looked like they were sleeping. We tried to revive them but to no aveil we couldn't get them to come around. That is when Bob finally agreed , that would be Merandas last litter. The heart break is just too much. We will enjoy these babies just as we have all of the puppies from the other litters. I took the pups this morning to Dr. Lodwick in Georgetown and had their dew claws removed. They go back in 3 wks. to be weighed to be wormed. Sat. night it got too cold outside so I brought them into the kitchen. Sunday we got heat lamps and Bob mad a makeshift dog house in the garage for them and it is now heated for them to be comfortable.

Almost caught up,

I've been so wrapped up in catching up & missing my little bit, just getting to the blog again. Gonna try to make time to reach out to all the puppies and check on them. I think I'll feel much better seeing how happy they all are. This is who my husband called his Big Boy. He got a super great familiy too, his name is Jager also, except he's a boy. We have pictures earlier , but these are the last ones we had gotten. Hoping for new ones, especially Bob. He misses little bit too and now he is missing his Big Boy. Thanks for sending these pics Annette & hope to hear from you & Jager . Take Care Everyone

I am trying to catch up !

These are fall pictures of Miss Bella, she is definitely her mamas girl. She looks exactly like Meranda. I love her dog house. She is doing just fine & is a very good girl. Thanks to Jeanne for sharing her pics with us. It does my heart a world of good to see them.
Thanks again, can't wait to see more of her!

We had a visitor, can you guess who she is?

The pics are a bit old, but Iam sure you understand it's been real emotional since Merandas last litter. She came to visit shortly before Meranda delivered. Anyways, we were all so excited to see her, she is so pretty, she looks alot her papa, Max, . Thought I would throw in one of her puppy pics for a hint. Well, she is Jager, her fur was so soft, she looks great and she loves car rides. Thanks for bringing her to visit, that just made our day. Come back anytime.
