Our first meal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was their first taste of puppyformula/puppyfood. They weren't as excited as we thought they would be, but they are still drinking from Mommy. They will come along in a few days.

3 Weeks Old and On The Move !

The puppies were 3 weeks old a couple days ago, I am alittle behind. They are like toddlers learning to walk, but anxious to be on the move. Their little teeth are coming in , so they will be getting their first taste o puppy formula/puppy food this weekend. The first two at the top are the boys & the last 3 are the girls. They weighed in from 3.89 to 4.63 at the vets office this week. We were picking up the wormer medicine. They all like the taste of something new.

Peek a Boo -we see you !!!!!!!!!!!!!

They all have their eyes open it took 2-4 days, but all their peepers are open now. They are looking around alittle. A couple have try to stand on their feet to walk. They are moving a little bit quicker now. It won't be long before they are on the move.

Puppies # 2 - One Week Old Today !!!!!!!!

Wow, it's been a whole week. That went by fast. They are growing like weeds. Thought I would take some pictures of them while they were sleeping and Mama Meranda was taking a break in the cool air. They are all so cute, their eyes should be open sometime between now and next week. I'll let you know when they start playing peek a boo with us.

Puppies Set #2 first trip to vet.

The puppies had their first trip to the vets office today. Dr. Ned Lodwick at the Georgetown Animal Hospital performs the task of removing the dew claws from all the puppies. They were sleeping until that point. They fell back to sleep on the way home. Needess to say, Meranda had been having a fit while we gone. Mommy & babies were very happy to be reunited after being seperated for about an hour or so.

They have all arrived !!!!!!!!!!!!

Here they are, all cleaned up. The first one came out about 8:30 pm on Monday May16th. and the last one arrived around 2:00 a.m.May 17th. Two were born on the 16th & three were born on the 17th, so we will make their birthdate on the 17th.. I know Meranda has to be happy they are all out. There is 3 girls and 2 boys. All are making lots of noise and are very hungry. I will be taking them tomorrow to Dr. Lodwick to get their dew claws removed.
